COLOMBO — On July 24th, the OMI Colombo Province had the distinct joy of warmly welcoming Fr. Eugene Benedict OMI, the General Councilor for Asia-Oceania, upon his arrival in Sri Lanka.
Fr. Benedict’s visit marks an important period of discernment for the local Oblate community. At present, he is visiting the Colombo Province to engage in official consultations regarding the upcoming appointment of the next Provincial Administration.
The entire Oblate family in the Colombo Province extends its heartfelt greetings to Fr. Benedict as he begins this vital process. We assure him of our prayers and support, and we wish him a very happy, blessed, and fruitful stay with us.
