OPENING & HANDOVER OF 20 HOUSES

It was a day of great joy and blessing to hand over 20 new homes to deserving families on 05th September 2026.
The handover and opening ceremony was held at St. Anthony’s Church, Pubudugama.

We were honored by the presence of:
Very Rev. Fr. Roshan Silva OMI, Oblate Provincial Superior
Rev. Frs. Subash Gomis OMI (Bangladesh), Sarath Perera, Mark Sanjaya
Rev. Fr. Marius Chrishan, Parish Priest – Pubudugama
Rev. Fr. Suranga Fernando, Parish Priest – Uswetakeiyawa

We were also blessed to welcome:
Ven. Assadhi Thero, Ven. Embilipitiye Sugatha Rathana Thero,
and Mr. Sanjeewa Wejeenanda, Police Inspector – Pamunugama Police Station.

With the completion of these twenty homes, Mr. & Mrs. Errol & Rosemary Baptist have now generously donated a total of 220 houses for needy families in Sri Lanka.
The houses handed over on 05th September are House Nos. 524–543 of the Oblate Housing Project.
