GAMPAHA – The OMI Colombo Province extends its warmest congratulations to Rev. Fr. Reginald Jayamaha, OMI on his official installation as the new District Superior of the Oblate District of Gampaha. The installation took place during a beautiful grace-filled prayer service on Monday, June 29.

We also joyfully extend our fraternal congratulations to the newly appointed district assessors who will form the core leadership team alongside Fr. Reginald:

A Prayerful Beginning at Sahana Medura

The installation and prayer service were held at Sahana Medura in Kanuwana, Ja-Ela, a cherished sanctuary of peace and healing within the province. The sacred service was conducted in the auspicious presence of the Vicar Provincial, signifying the unity and shared apostolic vision of the entire province.

As this new leadership team steps into the margins to guide the pastoral, social, and community works across the Gampaha District, we assure them and all local members of our constant prayers and unwavering support. May the spirit of our founder, St. Eugene de Mazenod, and the maternal care of Mary Immaculate guide them gracefully in their new mission.
