CATHOLIC UNIVERSITY CHAPLAINCY
The Catholic University Chaplaincy is a welcoming space for you to explore your faith as a young adult, meet peers with similar interests from diverse backgrounds, and get involved in spiritual activities and social outreach.
Our main center is the Chapel of Our Lady, Seat of Wisdom, located within the University Park at the University of Peradeniya.
Whether you already have a strong faith and are looking to deepen it, or you are full of questions and searching for honest answers about life, this is your space. Everyone is welcome. Don’t be shy—come and visit us!

The Chapel of Our Lady, Seat of Wisdom, serves as a home for all Catholics at the University of Peradeniya and anyone seeking to grow closer to Christ and His Church. It is a place where faith is nurtured and lifelong friendships are formed, empowering us to witness to our faith through lives of love, joy, generosity, service, and a commitment to evangelization.

Mass & Confession Times
Please note: Particularly outside of university term times, it is advisable to get in touch with the Chaplain beforehand to confirm the schedule.
Sunday Mass: Benediction followed by Holy Mass at 4:15 PM
Weekday Mass: Benediction followed by Holy Mass at 5:15 PM
Confession: Sunday and Wednesday evenings
